Condition

All products are pre owned unless mentioned otherwise! We wash everything prior to posting*, doing our best to ensure all items are in the best possible condition for you! 

We Mention all visible flaws in the description and include pictures as well. Due to the nature of Second-hand clothing, everything has been "pre loved" therefore not in brand new condition. Please expect to see some minor pilling on materials, cracking on screen prints and all the other minor imperfections that make Vintage clothing so unique! 

*Delicate materials such as Leather/Suede are not washed or dry cleaned 

Sizing

Sizing has differed throughout the decades, also many garments experience shrinking over time due to being washed. Thats why it is likely to find a Size large T Shirt from the 80s may fit a slim S/M today.  We ask customers to Please Refer to measurements for best indicator of how the garment fits

How we measure garments can be found below:

All measurements are taken with garment laying flat

Tops

Shoulder to bottom Hem: Top of shoulder straight down to the end of the garment

Pit to Pit: Across the body, from the points where the sleeve and body of the garment meet

Sleeve:

1. From the stitching indicating beginning of sleeve(Typically end of shoulder) to End of sleeve

2. Top of shoulder(near collar) to end of sleeve, used when no stitching indicating where sleeve starts can be found

Bottoms:

Waist: Circumference of waist(take the measurement across the waist and multiply by 2)

Waist to Bottom Hem: Very Top on pants to bottom

Inseam: Crotch to Bottom of pants

Leg opening: Measure the circumference of the end of garment (measure across the leg opening, and multiply by 2)

1. All items ordered after July 7th 2025 are FINAL SALE and not returnable!

All pending returns must be sent back before July 31st 2025

RETURNS: CUSTOMERS WITHIN CANADA/USA

The T-shirt didn't fit right or you feeling a little buyers remorse? We want to provide customers with worry free online shopping, we do this by Accepting Returns within 31 days of delivery! All Shipping cost are covered by us!* 

*Free return shipping only applies to customers within Canada/USA

Items just have to be in the same condition as when purchased to be eligible!

Steps:

1.To start your Return Process Click here!

2. Enter Order Number (can be found on emailed/texted receipt/confirmation) and email used when item was purchased.

3. Request a refund. A return label and instructions on how to pack it and where to drop it off will be sent to your email. Package must be shipped out within 2 weeks of receiving return label or return request will be discarded.

Canada: Please Allow 5-7 business days for item to arrive back to us

USA/International: Please Allow 3-4 Weeks for item to arrive back to us as items have to pass through customs and be delivered to our Canadian Address

4. Once Received, we will examine your item once more, if its deemed acceptable, a refund will be sent (minus original shipping cost) to original method of payment/or we can provide you store credit! Please allow up to 10 days for refund to process and show up in your account. 

5. Visit www.propervintagecanada.com and buy more clothes!

We will not issue a refund if we do not receive the original item back!

RETURNS: CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF CANADA/USA

At the moment we are accepting returns within 30 days (given it is in same condition as when purchased). However we are unable to cover the return shipping or provide a return label if you are located outside of USA/Canada.

We acknowledge that International return shipping can be expensive and wouldn't be a sensible option in some cases(i.e return shipping cost more then refundable amount). We ask customers to please be aware of this prior to making a purchase! Expect Return shipping to cost at least $50-$100CAD.

The Return process for Customers Outside of USA/Canada will go as follows:

2. Enter Order Number (can be found on emailed/texted receipt/confirmation) and email used when item was purchased.

3. Ship with carrier of your choice

4. Pack all the returned items, along with a print off of your confirmation of purchase email, and attach the label on a Box/Envelope. You can use your own supplies if you prefer.

5. Please ship WITHIN 2 WEEKS of receiving return label, otherwise return request will be discarded.

You will receive an email as soon as we receive your items, and when/if a refund is issued!

We do not cover return shipping cost for orders placed outside Canada/USA 

Do you offer exchanges?

We do not offer direct exchanges. Instead you can opt for a refund to store credit and use that credit towards item(s) you may want!
